Sunday Night Safran hosted by John Safran began in 2005 on Australian public radio youth station JJJ (which they insist on calling TripleJ) as a one-hour show. Father Bob became a regular co-host around 2007, and the show was lengthened to two hours. The show has a strong Melbourne flavour as they both reside in the inner suburbs of Melbourne. John comes from Melbourne's jewish community and Father Bob runs a Catholic Church.
This archive begins from Safran's return from his 6-month break from filming Race Relations.
Parent company ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) only archive shows for a few weeks so their shows effectively become lost to the general public.
Description from their own website: "John Safran and Father Bob Maguire continue to be provocateurs with their weekly radio ramblings. There will be more twitter wars, non-stop heavy breathing and a whole lot of lisping."
